Stamp Act Riots and the Start of Revolution August 13, 2015

On the night of August 13, 1765, a effigy was hung on what would come to be known as the Liberty Tree at the entrance to the town of Boston. This symbolic violence would soon become a real riot, attacking Andrew Oliver, the appointed Stamp Act agent.
