Women have long played a leading role in preserving America’s historic sites. As the Abigail Adams Birthplace celebrates the 70th anniversary of its rescue from demolition by a group led by activist Amy Hill Duncan, it honors the contributions of female preservationists. Co-presented with the Weymouth Public Libraries, this panel discussion will feature speakers from local historic sites that were saved through the efforts of women.
Please join us for this free event from 3-5 PM on March 11 at the Tufts Library 46 Broad St, Weymouth, MA 02188.
